We have recently completed an exciting project on behalf of Surgo Construction which showcased modern designs using our traditional materials. We manufactured and installed new High Performance Wood Casement windows and door frames for a new Primary School in Hartlepool, Cleveland
Working closely with the architects to design wood windows which involved high performance insulating units, featuring specialist colour finishes to the glass this interesting scheme is a testament to modern design using traditional materials.
High Thermal efficiency, ease of maintenance. long service life and environmentally friendly materials were the drivers in the design of this building and High Performance Factory decorated and glazed frames fit the bill perfectly.
In 2020, ERW was commissioned by Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council to carry out specialist timber repairs to the Cliff Tramway’s existing carriages. We just wanted to drop you a note to let you know that we are very happy with both our secondary glazing and the new double glazing that has very recently been fitted by ERW Joinery Ltd in our home. Despite having some reservations about the aesthetics and impact it would have on the ‘period’ of the house, we both think the windows look great. In addition to this we have already noticed that the house feels much warmer and also retains the heat for longer.
