As the year is drawing to a close, we thought we’d take a look back on what has been going on in 2021 at ERW. It’s been a busy year for us and we have so much to share with you all!
We’re delighted to announce that we’ve created two new doors; the Denver and the Kielder.

Our Denver door boasts clean lines and a stylish finish, which results in a truly beautiful entranceway. Matched with quality ironmongery, its beauty is matched by exceptional performance.

A sure way to make a statement, our Kielder door is inspired by Victorian architecture and showcases minster glass panels with intricate lead detailing. Bolection moulding enhances the aesthetics of the door, bringing timeless appeal to any entranceway.
You can view our new doors in our showroom, along with our other products.

In addition to our timber doors and windows, we’ve extended our showroom to include our range of verandas and pergolas so you can see them in the flesh. We’ve also installed lighting and heating options so that you can envisage how an outdoor living product would look like in your garden.
We’ve also created our brand new design studio, where you can sit with a member of our team to design the perfect door, windows or outdoor living range. Better yet, you can view numerous colour options and we can show you how it would look on your property.
Visits to our showroom are by appointment only, so please email sales@erwltd.co.uk or call 01642 456167 and a member of our team will be happy to help.

2021 has definitely been the year for garden transformations! We’ve been incredibly busy installing new pergolas and verandas for our lovely customers all over the region. These new spaces have been used for numerous purposes such as: play areas, dining spaces and even home offices!

This year has seen so many unique doors, bold colour choices and intricate lead detailing which has resulted in some truly beautiful doors, totally bespoke to each property. It’s been a pleasure working with our customers to see their visions come to light and we hope they enjoy their new doors for many years to come.

Whether it be Victorian style sash windows, casements or Yorkshire sash windows, we’ve carefully crafted them all in our workshop, bespoke to our customers’ properties and preferences. Our European redwood windows are built to last, and are more environmentally friendly than their uPVC counterparts, something which is important for us all to consider after the COP26 summit.

As things began to return to some form of ‘normality’ at the beginning of the year, we were incredibly busy completing projects for the likes of Darlington Council’s regeneration project which saw a burst of colour on Clark’s Yard and Buckton’s Yard. We have also worked on a number of shop fronts and historic buildings, such as Selby Town Hall.
2021 has truly been a whirlwind of a year! We hope that all of our lovely customers have a fantastic Christmas and we wish them all the best for the year ahead.
If you’d like to discuss a home renovation project, please feel free to get in touch by emailing sales@erwltd.co.uk or by calling 01642 456167 will be on hand to help.
Timber windows naturally provide a beautiful, timeless aesthetic, instantly bringing warmth and character to any home. They offer the ideal foundation for creating a stunning festive display that can give your home that sought after cozy Christmas feel this time of year. As the days shorten and the outdoor temperature drops, our windows transform into […]
Upgrading your windows is one of the most effective investments that you can make in your property, particularly during the colder months. Outdated or poorly performing windows are often the common cause for heat loss in a home, making rooms feel draughty and inconsistent in temperature, whilst also raising your energy bills. Often, you won’t […]
There’s a common belief among heritage homeowners that you can’t improve your heritage home – let us introduce you to vacuum glazing. Whether it’s the tight constraints of planning permission, or a reluctance to hinder the visual appearance of listed buildings, heritage homeowners are often reluctant to attempt to renovate their home in any regard, […]

Having just recently had wooden windows installed by your company, I would like to thank you for the professional and efficient service you provided. From my initial phone call to ERW through quotation and survey it all went very smoothly. I congratulate you on your work force who were all polite, punctual, reliable, tidy, helpful, considerate and very hard working. A CREDIT TO ERW!
